Sara Wilson’s passion has always been to work in the medical field caring for others and assisting the amazing and inspirational physicians she has had the pleasure to work with. Sara has been in the medical field for 15 years, and has made quite the career out of being a medical assistant. Sara started out in Cardiology and later became a cardiac tech. She moved on to Urology, Hand and Elbow surgery, Primary Care, Plastic & Reconstructive surgery as a surgery scheduler. She taught the Medical Assistant Program as well as an Externship Coordinator for medical students. Currently, Sarah is working with BACH as their Performance Improvement Trainer where she carries out annual and monthly trainings for current staff as well as train their new hires. At the moment Sara is a nursing student working towards her RN license and she is looking forward to what it means to be an IPC champion.

It has always been my priority to make sure infection control is taken serious. I am eager to see what I can take from this and pass it along in trainings or people around me.
