Clean Hands Protect Patients

This course is intended for healthcare providers and reviews key concepts of hand hygiene and Standard Precautions.

Topics include:

  • What are some other concerns surrounding Standard Precautions?

Know how and when to perform hand hygiene as part of preventing the spread of COVID-19.

 

To prepare for and respond to COVID-19, apply infection prevention and control guidance for nursing homes and other long-term care facilities.

Protect residents and keep COVID-19 out of your building. Use face masks correctly, check for symptoms daily, and stay out of the building if you are sick.

Recognize new or worsening infections quickly in long-term care facilities and nursing homes. The earlier you identify sick residents, the faster COVID-19 can be prevented from spreading. Monitor sick residents to catch serious illness early.
