Dr. Elderts was born in Hilo, HI and grew up in Kapolei, HI. He completed his doctorate in clinical psychology with an emphasis in health psychology from Pacific University School of Graduate Psychology in Hillsboro, OR in 2019. He completed his predoctoral internship with l Ola Lāhui and has worked at Kahuku Medical Center and Hawaii Island Family Health Center in Primary Care. His interest is in working with underserved populations including rural communities, primary care and other integrated settings along health professionals.
